Pyrography is the art of decorating materials with designs created by burning or charring. This delicate wooden box has been intricately engraved with floral patterns. I’ve collected boxes like these through the years to store my most cherished keepsakes. Think handwritten notes from loved ones, photobooth strips and poloroids from all those goofy nights spent with your favorite people, and those little trinkets that have such fond memories but no great place to live. It becomes its own little time capsule on my shelf filled of happiness and nostalgia.
